Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Calon Y Cymoedd is a Primary school situated in Betws, Bridgend South Wales. We provide bilingual education for Cwm Garw and Cwm Ogwr and the surrounding area.
Our school moto at Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Calon Y Cymoedd is that everyone matters and everyone achieves. We offer a happy and caring environment where your child can feel safe and secure. The education we provide is carefully matched to the learning needs of individual children, pupil voice is of great importance to us. Our aim is to provide a warm, welcoming and happy environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential and develop into responsible citizens and life long learners.

Bydd y disgyblion yn derbyn tasg newydd bob pythefnos. Unwaith y byddwch wedi cwblhau’r dasg, gallwch wedyn gwblhau sylwadau’r rhieni a’r disgyblion, gan y byddem wrth ein bodd yn clywed faint o hwyl gawsoch wrth gwblhau’r tasgau!🧮🧠✖️➕➖➗
We are very excited to announce that our year 1 and year 3 pupils will be taking home their first task from their new maths workbooks, thanks to the National Numeracy grant we have recieved.
The aim of this grant is too increase parents engagement, while also increasing the confidence of both parents and carers and pupils in mathematics!
We are sure that these fun tasks will be very enjoyabke and we look forward ti seeing your work once comoleted.
The pupila will recieve a new task every 2 weeks. Once you’ve completed the task, if you coukdnthen complete the parents and pupils comments, as we woukd love to hear how much fun you had completing the tasks! 🧮🧠✖️➕➖➗ 6 Likes
