Welcome
Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Calon Y Cymoedd is a Primary school situated in Betws, Bridgend South Wales. We provide bilingual education for Cwm Garw and Cwm Ogwr and the surrounding area.
Our school moto at Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Calon Y Cymoedd is that everyone matters and everyone achieves. We offer a happy and caring environment where your child can feel safe and secure. The education we provide is carefully matched to the learning needs of individual children, pupil voice is of great importance to us. Our aim is to provide a warm, welcoming and happy environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential and develop into responsible citizens and life long learners.

CYC on tour, Madrid 2026! Great first day visiting Retiro Park, Plaza Mayor, Royal Palace, the shops and watching a Flamenco show. Thanks Taith for funding this unforgettable trip for our learners. πͺπΈπͺπΈ 8 Likes
Last week Year 4 and dosbarth Pabi had a fantastic time taking part in a taster PE session with Gareth Fudge from Fudgeyβs Gym ! The children really enjoyed getting involved and trying out all of the activities. Diolch yn fawr!πͺπΌππ₯ 6 Likes
