Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Calon Y Cymoedd is a Primary school situated in Betws, Bridgend South Wales. We provide bilingual education for Cwm Garw and Cwm Ogwr and the surrounding area.
Our school moto at Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Calon Y Cymoedd is that everyone matters and everyone achieves. We offer a happy and caring environment where your child can feel safe and secure. The education we provide is carefully matched to the learning needs of individual children, pupil voice is of great importance to us. Our aim is to provide a warm, welcoming and happy environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential and develop into responsible citizens and life long learners.

A friendly reminder/invitation to all parents and families to come along to the Welsh Ogi Ogi Ogwr Festival this Sunday at Bryngarw Park!
It promises to be a fantastic day filled with a wide range of performances, activities, and stalls celebrating Welsh culture. 🌼
We are also very proud to share that CYC pupils will be performing at 1:20pm – we would love to see as many of you there as possible to support them!

Clwb Creu - Arts and Crafts Workshop

Join the Urdd for a morning of art, crafts and creativity! Enjoy colouring, painting, making, and much more!
The session is suitable for children in Years 4, 5, and 6. Places are limited, so please book a place using the link below.

The PIPYN programme supports families with children age 3-10 years and delivers fun and interactive sessions around healthy eating, increasing activity levels, aiding sleep, managing fussy eating and reducing screen time. This is a fantastic opportunity to spend time as a family in our weekly sessions for 7 weeks starting Tuesday 8th September 2-4pm .
The only criteria is that one child is aged between 3-10 years old but all siblings are welcome regardless of age. At least one parent/carer is required to attend.
