Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Calon Y Cymoedd is a Primary school situated in Betws, Bridgend South Wales. We provide bilingual education for Cwm Garw and Cwm Ogwr and the surrounding area.
Our school moto at Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Calon Y Cymoedd is that everyone matters and everyone achieves. We offer a happy and caring environment where your child can feel safe and secure. The education we provide is carefully matched to the learning needs of individual children, pupil voice is of great importance to us. Our aim is to provide a warm, welcoming and happy environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential and develop into responsible citizens and life long learners.

We would like to inform parents and carers that school is open to pupils today.
Thanks to the hard work of our caretaker, gritting has taken place and safe access into the main school building has been made possible.
Please take extra care when arriving at school, as there are still some icy patches on site.
❄️ Entry arrangements:
All children, except Nursery pupils, should enter the school via the main entrance this morning.
