Welcome
Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Calon Y Cymoedd is a Primary school situated in Betws, Bridgend South Wales. We provide bilingual education for Cwm Garw and Cwm Ogwr and the surrounding area.
Our school moto at Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Calon Y Cymoedd is that everyone matters and everyone achieves. We offer a happy and caring environment where your child can feel safe and secure. The education we provide is carefully matched to the learning needs of individual children, pupil voice is of great importance to us. Our aim is to provide a warm, welcoming and happy environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential and develop into responsible citizens and life long learners.

Everyone is warmly invited to pop along. There’s no requirement to speak Welsh, and you don’t need to be a parent of the school to join us — all are welcome.

This week at Outdoor Club we learned about tree rings and what they can tell us about a tree’s life 🌳🪵 We also got creative making crayon rubbings from the logs around us 🎨✨
